    6:00 to 8:00 pm

    Ticket Cost: $50.00

Due to the economic downturn, SCCLS has experienced $1.9 million in funding cuts since 2008!

Through staff reductions and cost saving efforts, SCCLS has cut $1.4 million in spending.

Your support will help SCCLS close the remaining funding gap and ensure critical legal services remain available to those struggling with obstacles to adequate food, shelter, personal safety, financial stability and individual rights. Thank you!

On March 24th, over 200 supporters of SCCLS and NCLA will come together for a fun and lively Welcome Spring Cocktail Reception.

Attorney Kenneth Feinberg will be the evening's honored guest.  Mr. Feinberg is an advocate for the free civil legal services SCCLS and NCLA provide to our region's most vulnerable residents.  Attorney Feinberg has been key to resolving many of our nation's most challenging and widely known disputes. He is best known for serving as the Special Master of the Federal September 11th Victim Compensation Fund and is currently the administrator of the $20 billion Gulf oil spill victim's fund.

Come enjoy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and artwork while mingling with other supporters of legal aid.  During the event, NCLA will present the 2010 Plymouth County Volunteer of the Year  Award.  This award is presented to an attorney who exemplifies dedication and excellence within pro-bono legal services.
