Your Support Directly Impacts Clients in the Community

Can we count you in as a SCCLS Supporter?

Thanks to you, a recent client was able to procure emergency shelter for herself and her children, preventing homelessness. Another client received assistance to escape a domestic violence situation. Did you know that civil (non-criminal) cases do not receive public defenders? Clients depend on SCCLS to be on their side for critical civil legal aid.

Your generous gift directly impacts individuals, families, elders, and the disabled facing legal obstacles to adequate food, shelter, medical services, personal safety, financial stability, and individual rights. With your support, community members can get the high quality civil legal aid they need for a better, healthier future.

Each year, SCCLS helps over 4,000 low-income and vulnerable clients who face life-altering legal issues and cannot afford to hire a private attorney.  Typically, to qualify for free legal services a client's household income must be below 125% of Federal Poverty Guidelines (that is below $23,163 for a family of 3). Join the movement for equal justice for all, not just those who can afford to pay.

You can click "Donate" for a secure online transaction, or send a check to SCCLS, P.O. Box 2507, Fall River, MA 02722.

Your generous contribution in support of SCCLS clients is 100% tax-deductible.
