Your Support Directly Impacts Clients in the Community

Can we count you in as a 2018 SCCLS Supporter?

Your gift goes a long way. Thanks to you, a recent client was able to procure emergency shelter for herself and her children, preventing homelessness. Another client received assistance to escape a domestic violence situation. Did you know that civil (non-criminal) cases do not receive public defenders? Clients depend on SCCLS to be on their side for critical civil legal aid.

Each year, SCCLS serves approximately 11,000 low income families, elders, and people with disabilities in over 4,000 cases. We offer numerous Know Your Rights trainings and informational outreach sessions to benefit the community and achieve our mission of equal justice for the poor and disadvantaged through community based legal advocacy. But we can’t do this work alone, and we are particularly appreciative of community support of our mission.

Your generous gift directly impacts individuals, families, elders, and individuals with disabilities who face legal obstacles to adequate food, shelter, medical services, personal safety, financial stability, and individual rights. With your support, community members can get the high quality civil legal aid they need for a better, healthier future.

Join the movement for equal justice for all, not just those who can afford to pay. Simply click "Donate" for a secure online transaction, or send a check payable to "SCCLS" at P.O. Box 2507, Fall River, MA 02722. Your generous contribution in support of SCCLS clients is 100% tax-deductible.
